Bower was ready and able to and almost actually DID play an NHL game at age 55.
Johnny as a member of the Vancouver Canucks in 1954/55.
Auston Matthews
Matthews and his teammates dominated the Calder Trophy voting in 2017. Matthews was the fastest Leaf rookie to score 25 goals. Auston's four-goal debut was the first Leaf rookie hat-trick in over 30 years.
